Brilliant pale gold in the glass, a true bundle of fruit on the nose, scents of nutmeg, wild rose, and ripe fig, but also hints of honeydew melon and dried fruit. Honey, vanilla, and caramel aromas form the magnificent body of this wine, whose natural residual sweetness harmonizes perfectly with its subtle acidity.

This Auslese is an excellent aperitif and digestif, pairs well with sweet desserts.

This renowned steep slope was formerly owned by the State Winery. Today, the Steinberg is the premium vineyard of Durbach and is cultivated and maintained exclusively by young winegrowers through painstaking manual labor. This requires a great deal of idealism and passion. Particularly strict yield regulation also ensures outstanding quality and great wines.
