Durbach lies near Offenburg on the western edge of the Black Forest, close to Strasbourg. Steep slopes, different elevations, weathered granite soils and many winegrower families shape the village.

Grape varieties

Klingelberger, Pinot Noir and local specialities.

Klingelberger is the local name for Riesling. Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Clevner and Gewürztraminer are also important, with further varieties adding diversity.
